Byakuyához hasonlóan hidegvérűnek és büszkének tűnik. Azonban mindez látszat, belül forróvérű, és könnyen felidegelhető, tükrözi Byakuya gyermeki énjét. Senbonzakura felszabadultabb, mint mestere, de ugyan úgy törődik Sode no Shirayukival, mint Byakuya Rukiával. Még a fürdőbe is maszkkal jár.
